Piusa Visitor Center

Overview

Visitor center is a place where you can spend free time in Võrumaa, where you can come with a family or a group.

The aim of the center is to coordinate the contribution to the protection of the Piusa cave and protected species through tourism and targeted development throughout the year, as well as to ensure the safety of tourists visiting the Piusa Museum cave. 

Visitor center services

• Guide Service – The Music Cave can only be accessed with a guide tour. The tour includes a 13-minute documentary, a tour of the Visitor Center and the Museum Cave Viewing Platform. 
• The visitor center has many different exhibits that introduce the history of Piusa caves, the production and history of the Estonian glass industry, and bats and their lives. . 
• The Visitor Center has a wide variety of souvenirs from consumer glass production to hourglasses. 
• Bat Mugs from seven different species and the exhibition “Super-capable Bat” in collaboration with the Estonian Museum of Natural History and the Estonian Fund for Nature
