Tamme outcrop belongs to under nature protection and this landscape area is located on the eastern shore of Lake Võrtsjärv between Tamme and Neemisküla. The red sandstone outcrop of the Aruküla Stage in Central Devon, up to 8 m high, is an important find of rock formations. From the outcrop there is a beautiful view of Lake Võrtsjärv, at the foot of the bank you can find breaking caves (caves). A 2 km long hiking trail has been built between Paljandi and Võrtsjärv. At the beginning of the hiking trail, a road sign leads from the Alakeerd bus stop on the Sangla-Rannu road.
