Pakri Lighthouse and Coastal Cliff

Overview

The coast of the Pakri peninsula is the home of Estonia’s tallest lighthouse. While the maximum height of the coastal cliff itself is about 25 m above sea level, the height of the Pakri lighthouse from the foot is 52 m. The lighthouse was built in 1889 and is still in use today. It is also open to visitors – those who make an effort to climb the 275 steps to the top are rewarded with scenic views of the sea and the surrounding area.
